The Girl in the Glass by Susan Meissner

As a young girl, Meg’s father promises her a trip to Florence, Italy but things don’t work out as planned. When Meg’s job sends her to Florence to research a travel book, she is thrilled. As Meg learns more about the culture and the people, she soon realizes that life is what you make of it. – Amazon Synopsis

I found this book to be a charming book that brings the past and the present together. Having never been to Florence, I appreciated all the different historical sites that was mentioned. The only thing I would mention is that it was a little hard to follow as an e-book. I found that it was not as clear to which story I was reading.

Susan Meissner is a great author and I’d recommend her books.
