What Did You Do Today? by Whitney Antis

Hi Everyone,

I am so excited to share this book with you that’s coming out this fall! Also, there is a great opportunity with this book that you can play a role in helping it get published! It’s a wonderful way to help support an author and get some awesome cool stuff as well. Check out all the information below. 🙂 Happy Reading! Becca

What Did You Do Today?”  is a fun, interactive book that creates space for kids (and their adults) to reflect and learn from their experiences throughout the day, with plenty of room for giggles, meaningful conversations and lots of LOVE! It has fun rhyming text and colorful animal characters to engage kids and open dialogue about things like: emotions, social situations, food, kindness, imagination, creativity and so much more!  With open-ended prompts and so many fun things to talk about on the page, you’ll have so much fun discovering more about your little ones, as you give them space to share about their day.

The Perfect book to encourage conversations with Kids about:

* Social situations-processing through positive choices for situations in which young children often find themselves.
* Emotions-recognizing, naming, and communicating their feelings.
* Food-developing a positive relationship with food, exploring new foods they might want to try, learning what different foods can do for our bodies.
* Kindness-understanding the importance of treating others well and the impact their kind actions can have on others.
* Fears-expressing what things may make them afraid and what they could do to overcome those fears.
* Creativity-encouraging little ones to dream big and use their imaginations to create!
* Problem-solving-figuring out constructive solutions when they feel frustrated.
And much more!

Take a Look inside!

What is Kickstarter and Why use it?

If you’re new to Kickstarter, it’s an online platform to crowd fund a project, invention, or in this case, a book. It’s a way to help creators of the projects obtain funding so they can release their product/book.

For me, I’m using Kickstarter to generate excitement about the project. I hope this book will help little ones thrive and families become even more connected. I am self-publishing, so this Kickstarter will help pay for printing, illustrations and other expenses. I can’t wait to get this book out into the world!

I’m excited about this book, because I really believe it will be a fun and fruitful book for kids and their parents/caregivers. I have people reaching out to me in various professions (counselors, speech therapists, teachers, ESL teachers, etc.) letting me know that this book will be a great asset to them in their work with young children, and that is such a thrilling and rewarding feeling to know my book will be helpful in many different ways! ❤ Thank you so much! -Whitney
