Have you ever been SO excited for a book to release that the days seem to drag by? I know that I have! When I was younger, I ordered a bunch of books from Christian Book Distributors. I waited and waited and waited. One day, I was sitting in the living room complaining to my mom about how long it took. She listened patiently and said, “I haven’t heard the UPS truck come but maybe look on the porch.” I got up and walked over to the door and opened it.. On the porch was my box of books. I was SO EXCITED!! I spent the rest of the afternoon reading. Today, we still have to wait for the publisher to publish to the book. BUT the day the book releases, we can get it instantly on Kindle or paperback a couple days later. The long agonizing wait is more bearable these days.
