I’ve always been intrigued with the regency era and always find myself drawn to those stories. I’ve learned a lot about the way people lived during that time.  I love spy novels so this book had double the appeal. It’s one of those books you can read and be encouraged. The characters were believable and realistic. I did not like Julia’s uncle at all and really just wanted to punch him. I love the spying and the intrigue throughout this book. I don’t know a lot about the war that was fought during that time but I’ve enjoyed learning more about it. A Spies Devotion is a heartwarming book that will take leave you wanting to read more.

I am so excited about reading more books by Melanie Dickerson!
